    Call from Ford I got a follow-up call from research folks at Ford to my question to Ford's customer care. They said they checked with the manufacturer, and the 18" polished aluminum wheels are clear coated.

    Muffler Mod for appearance

    Muffler Prep All the prep I did was wiping with a wet rag and using the wire brush about the size of a toothbrush. The paint was Rustoleum semigloss black. Thanks.

Got it home, fully read the back, and found the following: "Not recommentded for gold plating, anodized, painted or clear coated aluminum wheels." I don't think my wheels fall into those...

    3.55, 3.73 ????

    3.31 Thanks to all. I did find something that said the trans was 44L 5R55S meaning 5 speed auto trans. I can't find the 44L anywhere on the window sticker I have been able to print with a link given to me in a forum. My widnow sticker simply says "5-speed auto transmission $645."

    Anyone know the correct number for rear end 3.55, 3.73, etc. for auto trans in 2009 GT. I am trying one (with only 12K miles) from the dealer and having a little troulble locating info and especially production numbers. Thanks.
