    No need to take the seats out. It is pretty easy to move the console. It has been a while for me, but I remember you just need to remove the shift bezel, and the glove box liner. From there, you will see the few screws that hold it in place.

    It isn't all that difficult to open up the flasher. However, mod'ing it isn't all that straight forward. The "resistor" which is used to measure current flow, and therefore detect if a bulb is burnt out, is really just a hunk of carefully machined metal. So, you can't just go down to RS and...

    I would try replacing the stock flasher with one P/N F67B-13350-BA. That replacement flasher supports having one less incandescent bulb per vehicle side, which is kind-of what you have when you replaced one bulb with an LED.

    Since they just snap off, it could be that a previous owner had one stolen, and just replaced it with what ever he could get cheap (the only one available at his local salvage yard?) prior to selling the car.

    It is time consuming, but you can replace the burnt out bulb. You need to remove the headlight knob (the most difficult part of the job), the trim bezel, and finally the cluster itself. On the back of it is the PC board, and plugged into the board in various spots are the bulb sockets...

    Yep, that's a GT side scoop on the driver's side, and a std (non-Pony pkg) V6 side scoop on the passenger side.

    The factory alarm is located in the trunk, behind the left (driver's) side panel. Possibly, your aftermarket box is there too, since a lot of the factory wiring would be there, plus the remote entry system box too.

    If and when it comes to replace my "sailcloth" vinyl top, I will certainly go with cloth. Cloth was a standard upgrade on the Cobras, and the 40th Anniversary editions. Plus, cloth is now an optional upgrade on '07 convertibles. There has just got to be a reason for that!

    The odometer is contained on its own little circuit board. When you swap instrument clusters, you need to move your original odometer circuit board over to the new cluster. The computer that runs the engine, verifies that your original odometer circuit board is there, and has not be hacked...

    I thought the GTS didn't come with the spoiler either? :shrug: But from the interior pics, it certainly has the V6 style seats and the crank windows. That's a GTS!

    If they are on your '02, then they were added later. The IUP didn't start to ship until well into the '03 model year (10/7/02 to be exact). I know... my '03 order was on hold waiting for them.

    I am not too sure what a tech adapter is, but I have the AutoMeter cluster, and it is exactly like the original factory cluster in terms of connections. If you need an adapter with the factory cluster, I am sure you would need one for the AutoMeter cluster too.

    Nope, they built about a dozen, VIN'ed as 2000 models, before the "stop build" order came. They pop up every now and then.
