3.73s are about the most you want to go...thats what I have and I am at the top of 4th at the end of the 1/4. Traction is also a big issue with 3.73s, and I dont make that much power. I have 275/40-17s
If you unplugged it it would set the check engine light off. If you took the vacuum line off it would have a nice little vacuum leak.
The only way to completely eliminate it is to turn it off in the computer.
