    I didn't say it was wrong. I said it was a PITA, which is true; and made a joke, which is just as on topic as the boat anchor 460 was- which is to say, not at all. You obviously have never done one of these if you think it's the same. The 460 is at least twice as hard to swap in as the 351.

    460 into a Fox = PITA. I can't imagine stuffing one of those in a street car being worth it, except for someone mental-defective enough to think it's cool hearing "WTF is wrong with you?!" every time they show anybody.

    More normal for some situations than others. What year is the car? How many miles are on it? Does the pump look like it's throwing any fluid around the engine bay? Need more info.

    Even if it was a LT issue, it could be easily solved with heat tape on the headers, or heat reflective sheathing on the cable.

    When my old T5 did that it was the input bearing where the DS slides in. Check for fluid around the end of the tranny/front yolk on the DS. If that's not it, you got me.

    That's another thing I like about Spintech- they made a stepped SFC to address the ground clearance problem. So, you have the Spintechs? Any drone?
