    the thing that i dont understand is, how does this one pull the clutch back up off the floor? or is it the clutch itself that does this? Why is that link not working?

    OK thanks guys...I have been informed that im going to have to remove almost everything....steering column, brake booster, and whatever else is in there. NOT A FUN JOB !!!!! :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :mad: :bang:

    Oh yea, figured it would be something crazy like that. Of course the guys at Ford said they would gladly do it. I guess a job like that would cost alot for labour...I guess i wont be at school tomorrow. I'll be having another fun fun day trying to fix this stupid quadrant :notnice: :bang:

    Need Help Please

    I got a new clutch quadrant and it came with the shaft that the clutch pedal bolts to. It seems that the only way I can change my quadrant is to change the whole shaft. So on that note, what is invloved in taking that whole clutch shaft out? Do I need to move the steering and brake stuff thats...

    got small quadrant gear on but....

    I finally got the small quadrant gear on its pin. There is now one problem, I cant figure out how to get the spring onto it now. Any suggestions????

    yea well i wouldnt think so either....there is not enough room to get the ratchet gear onto its pin...ive been working at this all day...easier to swap and engine and tranny than to replace a quadrant..dumbest thing ever :mad: :mad: :bang: :bang: :bang:

    How hard is it too move the 3 pedals. im replacing my clutch quadrant with a new stock one(dont ask why...or tell me i should have gotten an aftermarket one) but it seems like the only way i can get the new ratcheting gear on is to take everything out...is this true? there isnt enough room to...

    I have the whole new everything so I dont really care if it breaks I cant even get mine to break. Where did yours break at? maybe its a weak point. And how did you break it?

    I had to go with a stock one because that is all i could get in this stupid town im in. I would have liked to get an adjustable but i needed one right away and ford dealers were the only people that knew what a quadrant was.

    Im replacing my clutch quadrant with a new stock one. I got the big plastic gear off but i can not get the smaller ratcheting gear off for the life of me. :mad: What do I do? How can I get it off?
