    Are we cylinder snobs?

Nothing beats the sound of an eight, the way it pastes my head into the headrest, the way it kicks me out of a turn, and how it frightens my passengers. I had a 2000 Mustang brand new at $13,000, I think 15 when all was done. It had the 3.8 and I haaaaaated the sound. Thats just me though. It...

    Are we cylinder snobs?

I glanced upon this in a Sunday newspaper: Says the author: .........But there is a Mustang pecking order that intrudes on fantasy. My Mustang convertible was equipped with Ford's decent but decidedly workaday 210-horsepower, 4-liter V-6 engine. I liked it, and I suppose most ordinary...

IS THERE A WAY AROUND THE TPMS ?

Well, they're a good thing to have IMO. However, the bands really are a TPIA (total pain in the ass) because the factory ones are pop riveted so you have to break them and get new ones. Did it twice myself. Some of the methods I've read seem really going out of the way just to defeat the...

Should I have dealer fix damage done on lot new?

First of all, I'm awfully sorry to hear this thing has been bugging you. It would bug me too, that spot being right smack dab in the middle! However, if you went to the dealer they will probably ask you why it took so long to bring it to their attention. If it were mine, its kinda iffy...

My body kit, keep or remove?

I think Goo Gone is good stuff but you have to let it sit awhile, harmless to the material underneath. It might need a couple applications.

MotorTrends 2010 GT500 test with Probst!

Power oversteer - I just learned a new term! How many sets of tires does one go thru driving like that?

    Grabber Orange Mustang finally gone....

Does it have 4WD? Anyone remember the Pixar cartoon "Mike's New Car?" Knowing myself, I'd probably hit every button on the steering wheel and center stack and all hell would break loose. (just kiddin'):D Glad you're happy with your purchase. :nice:

    First door ding......

Alloy stripes, right? Can't see them in your signature but subtlety is everything. And woah, you've had more than your share of mishaps. For WV, I was imagining silver stripes, the same shade of my pinstripe and the Saleen sticker (which aren't too visible either). I prefer it over high...

pic Well, its tomorrow now. It looks worse in 'person.'

    First door ding......

Thanks. Here's an update: Wouldn't you know it, its on the body fold just under the left rear view mirror. Debatable whether dentless repair would do the trick. Don't know if they can get their tools under there either. It appears to me that the back door of an SUV hit it as mommie was...

    First door ding......

Not small, not big, but magnified by the metallic paint. All has been said on other posts. Just venting. Thanks.

I sold my 90 5.0 vert. and my 89 GT... and bought a 05 GT

Welcome aboard Stangcrazygirl! Have mercy, but those 22s screem ghetto! Do you have your new wheels picked out yet? Some folks here have really neat black ones. It would have been ideal if you could have sold off the old ones and have new ones ready all in one swap. Keep us posted. :D

IMO, rebar is hazardous when sticking out. What if a human trips or scrapes or God forbid falls on it?

    TPMS

First of all, ouch sorry to hear. If you haven't already found out, you might want to transfer your original TPMs onto your new wheels otherwise your dash will display a pesky "Tire Pressure Monitor Fault." Oh, and another thing, the TPMs are held by bands that are tack riveted so you have to...

    stock rims and tires

To each his own, and not to impugn anyone's taste but I couldn't stand the split spoke polished wheels (the Concept Wheels) and were the first to go. They came with my car and it was a $195 option that I didn't want. I would have been glad to swap them out for bullits from another car on the lot.
