    Fox Picking An Engine

Well if it isn't set up for roller from the factory, it must be converted. Which from what I've seen on a 351w, it requires a lot of grinding in the lifter valley. Also have to drill and tap the lifter valley for the little spider thing that holds the lifter retainers in place. Or you can always...

Results Of The Compression Test.....help And Thoughts

I never reuse gaskets like that. They're cheap enough. Sounds to me like you have a burnt valve or something

    Fox Picking An Engine

If you want a 351, get one out of a 95-96 F150/Broncos. Those are factory roller. Also, Ford continued to use that body style on their 3/4 tons in 97 so I'm pretty sure you could still get a 351 in a 97 F250. So that may help in finding one

Results Of The Compression Test.....help And Thoughts

If you ever think an engine is down on compression, you can always put a little oil in the cylinder and redo the test. If the compression goes up a considerable amount, the rings are shot. If the compression readings are the same as the initial test, then your valves need adjusting or you have a...

    Then and Now. '88 LX

I haven't done anything to this car since my last post besides rip the dash back out to check over why my blower motor wasn't working. In the process I broke the AC selector switch, which is discontinued from Ford. Also, O'reilly's doesn't have it. Searched around online and found one brand new...

    Powerdyne Supercharger

I have a powerdyne laying around. It's belt driven inside, not gear driven. It has sealed bearings and there is no oil. I would figure yours is just like mine

    New Heads

Now you're making me wish I had upgraded my springs when I got those heads. Oh well I just have a B cam lol. As for stall speed, I'd go with what you came up with. And also that cam is designed to go with 1.7 rockers. So if you end up using 1.6's you're gonna lose a little lift. Just letting ya...

Efi To Carb..have A Quick Question

We did it on my dads drag car. Would I recommend it? F*ck no. He's already blown through one regulator and for some reason couldn't get a return style working properly. Do it right or don't do it at all man. You may get lucky by rigging it up, but when it's all said and done, you have a car...
