    Good Machine shops in Regina

Well I finally got my motor delivered last friday. I ended up going with Continental because ABS is so busy and I didn't fell like waiting up to 3 months to get it back. Continental said they could get it done by the end of the month which works good for me. I'm looking forward to burning...

    Good Machine shops in Regina

Thanks guys. I called ABS the other day for a complete motor job; (400 crank and rods, ported heads, Edelbrock Carb & intake, 9.5 pistons, Comp 268 cam kit)and was quoted $3000 - $4000. Seems pretty fair to me.

    Good Machine shops in Regina

I'm building a 400M motor for my '77 F150 Supercab and I like some recomendations on where to go for best service and prices. I called Continental and was quoted $1000 for the shortblock. I also am using some custom parts like ARP fasteners , 9.5 cast pistons and a Comp cam so I need a place...

    Need opinions on new wheels

I would also go for the FR500 rims even if they were silver. But you should also get bigger tires for the back (315/35/17). I saw a red 99 cobra in a magazine with silver FR500s; 17/9 with 275/40/17 in front and 17/10.5 with 315/35/17 in the back and the car had an unbeatable look and stance...

What everyone's projects for the winter?

I haven't planned anything specifically yet, but I have a couple of friends with mid-13-sec LS1 Camaros that need to be stomped so I might look into heads, cam, etc or maybe forced induction but I might get a different Mustang all together. We'll see. Any recomendatons welcome.

So how did it go at SIR?

Sorry for the late post I've been on the road the last few days. My first pass at SIR was a 14.77 @ 94.8 MPH then I ran a couple of 14.8's and 14.9's, a 15.1 and my best was a 14.62 @ 94.9 MPH with a 2.24 60'. I was hoping for a 14.5 but I couldn't get the car to hook even with slipping the...

    SIR Sept. 25

If everyone wants to meet up at the truck weigh scale on #11 just outside the city between 9:30 and 10:00 we could all cruise together and get there in enough time to get though tech before the racing starts. I'll be driving my Grey '88 Coupe and my friend might bring his White/Red SS Camaro...

    Stalling on hot days

I recently bought a 1988 Mustang coupe with 155,000 kms on it and on hot days sitting at a traffic light it will start to run rough and then stall. Attempting to restart it doesn't work for a few times but after a few minutes it will start and work fine for a few minutes then I get the same...

    Just Upgraded

About a week ago I bought a 1988 Mustang coupe from Dustin 86 GT on the site. It's a great car so far and I'm really enjoying it. I don't get to drive the car much beacause I'm on the road all week, so when I do drive it I definitely drive my money's worth out of it. The car is optioned like...

Got to drive an 04 Cobra

I believe I saw that car awhile ago. Real nice machine with the Mystic paint, especially on a nice sunny day. A nice detail is the custom liscence plate that says TRMNATR (or something like that) which is what Ford nick named the upcoming Cobra in development.

I've seen 275-40-17 tires on fox bodies before, looks really cool but might have clearance issues if the backspaceing isn't perfect.
