    Anyone remove the 5.0 emblem

    I thought about removing my 5.0 badge and leaving it blank (assuming no holes). That way it would look like a 2010 V6 which had no badge...and I could fake out every guy at the light. :) But I left them on, now every guy at the light wants to start something...or they give me the drooling...

    I just found 4-quart bottles of Mobil 1 5-20 at Meijer for $17.99. Kinda handy that you just need to buy two bottles! :) Gonna get the oil changed mid-late April when I hit 5,000 miles. I'm not sure what my oil life % is right now...

    2011 HID Color Question

    I know the bulbs are heating up when you turn it on, but the "color temperature"....going from yellow (warm) to white/blue (cool)..is what I see. I will see what the dealer says about the tightness of the bulbs. And stand there while they work on the car. :)

    I do know what you're talking about. It just seems weird that you still have to turn the key, THEN push the start button. If you could leave your key in your pocket, then hit a button, I guess that would be a little cooler. :)

    2011 HID Color Question

    I have the HIDs on my 2011 GT. Love them. Sometimes when I turn them on after the car has been sitting, the color starts out kinda yellow, then cools off to white-ish blue. This takes about 2 seconds. Has anyone else noticed this? Do HIDs go yellow-ish if they are about to fail...

    2013 GT500 to Have 620 HP?

    The ZL-1 is coming out next year. That has been the "powerhouse" Camaro, historically. The Z28 was a road racing car, and had less power, but better handling. Much like the Boss 302 was/is today. I don't know if they will release the Z28 this year...and Chevy is one of my clients. :)

    To get a 19" snow tire is huge $. Blizzaks would have cost me $1,100 just for tires. Discount tire hooked me up with some 18" Drag wheels (DR-31, flat black, red stripe) and some Blizzak DM-V1 in a 235/55/18. Cost was $1,250 out the door. They clear the Brembo's no problem. The tires are...

    My '11 GT has 3399 or so miles on it...2 months old or so. I hit the "info" button the other day and noticed it said that my oil life was at 41%. If the car has an oil change interval of 10K miles...and I have 3,000 or so miles on the car, why would my oil life be so low? I'm in Michigan...

    BREMBOS and a flat tire

    I have those wheels for my winter tire/wheel setup. Mine are flat black with a red stripe around the lip. :nice: They fit over the Brembo's with lots of room to spare. I have Blizzaks mounted to mine (235/55/18) and I'm not sure if they'd fit into the tire well as they are a little taller than...

    TPM - needed or not

    I have winter tires/wheels on my 2011 GT, with no TPMS on them. Every time I start the car, I get some chimes and a message. Hit the "reset" button and the message goes away but my "tire alert" light stays on. Perhaps tomorrow, if I'm feeling adventurous...I might put the summer shoes on and...

    Getting rid of the OEM tires

    This is probably the most proper send off for my original 2007 Pirellis. I wasn't planning on it, but ended up getting a 2011 GT a few weeks later. Video post is in the works. Stay tuned.

    What's the point of owning the car if you don't drive it? I put almost 1,500 miles a month on my car! :shrug:
