Electrical 01 V6 wont stay running

Do you have an ODB2 scanner that will monitor what the PCM "thinks" the fuel pressure is? Consider that IF the fuel rail pressure sensor (FRPS) is sending false information to the PCM, the PCM will send commands to the fuel pump driver module (FPDM) in an attempt to adjust fuel pressure to...

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

From the voltage drop test the generally accepted limit is 250 mv. All of your readings are much lower than this limit. So based upon your measurements the grounds appear more than good enough. IMO it's important to double check the work to make sure that nothing is being overlooked...

    Brake lights aren’t working

If the test light is listed as "computer safe" it's likely too low to test lighting circuits. What you want is an old school "incandescent" style that draws more than the tiny amount that a "computer safe" unit will draw. Note, for go/no go testing even a computer safe test light can give some...

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

Voltage drop testing with a VOM requires current flow to make the test work. The test doesn't tell anything useful if no current is flowing. So if you want to measure voltage drop with a VOM the test has to be done on a working circuit with all devices connected. To test an inactive (or open...

    Brake lights aren’t working

This is frequently a problem in the multi-function switch. Do the hazards light work? Try exercising the hazard lights switch on/off a bunch of times. Does this change anything?

Hey guys, 01 gt having problems really need some help.

The reverse lights depend upon fuse F2.11, the reverse bulbs, and the trunk ground (G400). I'm assuming that fuse F2.11 has power when in the run position right? 1999-2004 MY fuse panel schedule...

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

If asking for my opinion I would prefer that a higher current draw test light be used. Typically LED based test lights are very low draw (computer safe). Better to use a incandescent automotive test light that draws more current for ground testing. Here's some more information that may help...

Can I upgrade my fuel pump ahead of future blower?

Note. That IF the capacity of the fuel pump is upgraded by a large margin this will create a situation where the PCM calls for a specific FPDM duty cycle based upon the tables inside the PCM. IF the fuel pump is way too large this will cause a "spike" in fuel pressure. The PCM will respond by...

    Odometer gear repair

+1 on above. Further I suspect if you were to take a picture of a MPH cluster and a KPH cluster you would note that for a given needle deflection they are the same. If so, the difference in the clusters is with the overlay behind the speedometer needle.

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

I'm very confused about the base symptoms. Do you have CONFIRMED key on power into and out of fuses F2.2 and F2.8? What about at the TPS sensor RED wire? Do you have +12 volts key on power there? What about key on power at the CCRM Pin #24 (RD) wire? Because IF this is true, THEN the CCRM...

97 Cobra Coyote swap Randomly won’t start

That's a good idea. Also as well to check that the PCM's "always on keep alive" power feed is stable. As I already mentioned IF there's supposed to be an LED for "start" that doesn't light when in crank mode and it's not working, that says to me there's something wrong in the wiring of the...

1998 Ford Mustang Gt, Oil(mixed with coolant) flowing out of the coolant resivior.

I don't think you understand what we are trying to tell you. At the oil filter adapter on the side if the block there is a spot where the output of the oil pump and the lower radiator hose comes together. There is a gasket there that keeps the oil and coolant separate. Think about it...

97 Mustang GT to 2011 Crown Vic Swap 95k Miles (Knock at idle)

Cars in police service spend soooooooooooo much of there life idling running the AC and keeping the radio on. This means that mileage is a poor indicator of wear. In fact many Police fleet cars will have an external Hobbs hour meter to keep track of running time. It's for this reason I...

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

That's not what your opening post says. Power for fuses F2.2 and F2.8 comes from the CCRM. Further you stated there voltage at the trunk IFS switch which also comes through the CCRM. Therefore there has to be power into and out of the CCRM at least for Motor functions. At the MAF red wire is...

97 Cobra Coyote swap Randomly won’t start

This says to me either: The power for the PCM is supposed to be ON while the key is in "run" or "crank". What IF the PCM power is dropping as the key is turned from "run" to "crank"? The PCM is never receiving a signal when the key is turned to "crank". It's well known that the PCM is...

    CCRM, PCM, or something else?

You have covered way more of the bases than the average bear. Good work! If this were my car I would check power(s) and ground(s) at the PCM. Starting with a through visual inspection looking for evidence of water or rodent activity. Especially in the area around the PCM.

    Oil Pressure Issue

The oil pressure sender can and does go bad. When this same problem recently happened to me, I found there was oil coming out of the center electrical connector. Replacing the oil pressure sender is cheap and easy enough to do for pure diagnostic reasons. Consider trying this first.

Hey guys, 01 gt having problems really need some help.

Are you trying to say that the above work with the key in the acc position but not with the key in the run position? If true this points to a problem in the ignition switch. Note, replacing the ignition switch is a DIY job and does NOT require PATS to be re-programmed.

97 Cobra Coyote swap Randomly won’t start

To me this says, "no power to the PCM". Go back to basics. Check power(s) and Grounds to the PCM while the problem is happening. Focus on the ignition pilot duty circuit to be sure that it's working as intended. Note, no clue HOW this works for your project.
