Coolant light will not go away.

I do have mostly water in there now. When I flushed it, I think the radiator was full of water, cause it didnt take much coolant.

Coolant light will not go away.

I sure hope this is not the case. The TB gasket was built in to the manifold, but I did not even check the bottom of the manifold. That would really suck, especially since I dropped down $60 for new gaskets at the dealer. Do you know if all the Ford manifolds come with them?

Coolant light will not go away.

So I have confirmed that it is the float in the reservoir. Do I have to buy an entire reservoir? It will not stay afloat. If I pull it up to the top, the light goes away.

Coolant light will not go away.

This is a good point. I noticed while I was filling up yesterday, that it would go up and sometimes it would stay down.

Coolant light will not go away.

Damn, I didnt even look either. I bought the Ford manifold from Summit. I sure hope it didnt have those gaskets, especially since I spent $60 at Ford on gaskets. It would be leaking into the valley of the block right?

Coolant light will not go away.

For what? I used a new therm. housing gasket, intake manifold gasket and TB came with a new gasket.

Coolant light will not go away.

It started coming on when I had a slow leak from the plastic crossover. I since replaced the manifold with the updated alluminum crossover. The light went away, I filled it the car up, waiting for the therm. to open, then filled it some more. I went for a drive and the light came on again, I got...

    Going to the track...

I guess I am thinking something I could bolt on in a day. Price is up or down, doesnt matter too much. I was kicking around an O/R Prochamber, think that would help with a stock setup?

    Going to the track...

I will be going in about a month. I am wondering what mod I should buy for around $200? that will really help. I am stock, with a K&N drop in filter and removed silencer, Pro5.0shifter and King Cobra clutch, with 275s on the rear. What one thing should I buy? Any tips? First time to the track...

    Underdrive Pulley Bashing.

Here you go... OT: But I am building a 650+hp 429 right now. It will use Super Cobra Jet heads, with a offy T-ram (SCJ ports) dome tops, nice big cam and two Holley 750s. Should do around 110mph and hit single pin turns at 65mph. They pull so many Gs in a turn, that you have to hold on...

    Underdrive Pulley Bashing.

Thats another thing, people say you cant use them if you go S/C. I say, why not? you just get the right size belt to compensate for them.

    Underdrive Pulley Bashing.

I have seen alot of threads talking about pulleys being a waste. But, they are known to make 5hp/5tq gains, which is pretty common. So I just wanted to start a thread up again and get some real opinions, on why they are so bad? 5hp/5tq to me, seems pretty good, you really want all you can get...

Replacing cracked PI manifold with new version.

So it looks like my car is just shy of the 7 year dealer replacement, so I have to do it myself. I am going to order the manifold from here. http://www.karkraft.com/intake_manifolds.htm Is there anything else I need to do to it? I have been reading about people drilling another coolant sensor...

PI Manifold cracked around water housing.

Whats the best way to go about the recall? I am not good at arguing with people. Is there some solid proof I can bring in to the dealer? or give them over the phone? Problem is, now I dont want to JB weld it, cause they might not cover it and I cant drive it, cause it is spewing coolant all over...

PI Manifold cracked around water housing.

The guy I bought it from said it was replaced. The one I have is full plastic, didnt they replace them with alluminum fronts? I notice the new ones have an alluminum front piece.
