    I have to agree, that was the biggest decision for me when searching for a car. It was down to a 96 with low miles or a 99 with higher miles and I went for the 99 just because of pure looks...and the extra hp was a +. :D

    Mine is a little shaky from about 1,000-1,300 rpm, then smoothes out. I just bought the car and need to get a FSM to check the resistance on stuff, I am going to change the plugs soon too.

    My car has new rotors and pads, but for some reason it squeeks, not even when you are on the brakes. If I am coasting or accelerating from 5mph-20mph there is a squeeking coming from them, any idea what would cause this? I am stumped. When they are squeeking, I can tap the brake and it will stop...

    Does anyone have pics of what it looks like with the head unit out? I just want to make sure I am not missing any pieces. All I have is the bar that goes across the bottom. Also, where should I buy the adapter to go from the Ford Mach harness to an aftermarket harness, I dont want to splice...

    What holds the aftermarket head unit in? My dash just has an opening and that is it. There is a piece of plastic that runs under the stereo, is that all the holds it there? it seems like it would need to be secured somehow, maybe I am missing a piece? Thanks.

    Clutch Freeplay.

    I have a FMS Clutch. The pedal has no freeplay at all, it is stiff as can be from the time you step on it. Is this bad? Shouldnt there be some freeplay? I also get a little bit of chatter at the bottom of 1st. Thanks.

    I am seriously getting within a few hours of pulling the trigger. I cant seem to decide, I love the 99+ body, but the mileage scares me. 99 GT 5 Speed 120k miles or 96 GT 5 Speed 70k miles Both are about the same price...and stock. What would you guys do?

    Sort of, I guess it would be all things being equal which car handles better, a 99 Cobra or all other live axles, including the 05+.
