    Engine cleaning question...

Thanks for the info, noone has ever told me specifics like this before. I feel a bit better about taking a pressure washer under my hood now! I was thinking about it last night and considered I might have blown a vaccuum line off the 'Vic from under the intake. Shame I can't travel back(in...

Good advice. I actually had the nozzle shoved beneath the manifold(5.0), I think I was being much too thorough... :( "If nobody tells me-how will I know?"

    Thermostat Gasket Woes

What Stinger said plus the following: Don't over-torque the bolts, also don't tighten one all the way down then do the other(s). Jump from bolt to bolt like putting a rim on.

    Engine cleaning question...

I read all of your posts guys, but I had a bad expierience with a pressure washer. I took one of my former Crown Vics to a car wash, and when I left the bay my car was all messed up! She really didn't run right again! Thanks for the info! Now I have some options to consider.

OK so my girlfriend bought a 2.3 ysterday

Copy the components in the exhaust part of my sig. The car is not going to roar, but I guarantee it will sound nice. Honestly the car is louder(at low RPMs) than most local V8 'stangs with factory exhaust. The car sounds like a small V8 at idle and low rpms, then sounds like a 6 at midrange then...

Well warm weather has finally arrived in Va Beach, we had a cold spell for a couple of weeks(high 50s in June!?), so I am warming up and getting restless to work on the 'stang. I washed and waxed her to get the winter grime off and detailed my interior. But what I want to know is this: Can I...

    It's been awhile.

I have often heard of this type of rebuild, my question is how you push the connecting rod and piston out of the bore with the crankshaft in the way, I have wondered about this literally for years, so please tell me the process. Thanks!

my new leather shifter boot for 30 bux shipped , GUYS GET ONE!!!

Coming from a shoemaking/auto upholstery background I would recommend contact cement, available at your local hardware store. If you follow the directions it will work great, this stuff has to set up a little bit before you glue the two items together... ...if you can restaple it after the...

    Dual exhaust

Ford also canceled the SVOs production, so is everything Ford does beyond reproach? Why add additional weight to a car already to heavy for a four cylinder? Why purchase an additional muffler when it won't affect the sound/back pressure at all? Read my sig, specifically the exhaust part...
