    The 245 is width in mm of the tire the 50 is the height of the sidewall in relation to the width meaning it is 50% of 245 and 16 is the rim size needed. Good deal for those rims and tires.

    If i were you I would try to find a 85+ 302 as they have the roller cam. The 82 has 157hp stock I believe compared to 210hp(5 speed) I imagine adding aftermarket parts to the 82 would get definate hp/tq gains but starting with an extra 53hp must have it's advantages.     I do think that there is no difference in the pedals between the engine sizes, and by what you wrote it seems you do know the t5's are different, the 4cyl being weaker and geared a little different.

    Hey! I found some white Cargo panels in decent shape...

    Use really fine grit sandpaper like 1500 it will not scratch away the texture. I did this to my interior and it looks like factory paint. Use Krylon Fusion paint for plastics......it is fantastic stuff.

    What size drag radials on 10 hole wheels

    My car came with Hoosier 275 60's on 10 holes. I am changing to centreline auto drags with 225 and 245's rear. Many people say that 275's are too wide on 7" but there was never any problems and as for tire wear they are even and lasted ok.
