    im not sure which year you could find them in. if they are ford injectors you can identify them by the color. the 19's should be blue and the 24's are white. the other thing is you will have to recalibrate your maf for those injectors. i would guess the trucks they come out of would be the same...

    didnt the mini starters also have a solenoid on them. if thats the case then it could be the solenoid on the starter also.

    sounds like it might be warped. sounds like you already tried what i was going to mention. the fact that it sits higher on both sides is what makes me think its warped.

    bad solenoid. if you still have a stock one then its probably the solenoid on the drivers side fenderwall.

    smoke machines help tofind those real pesky vac leaks. i think i have one and ive done the whole starting fluid thing around the intake and what not but still cant find it. im going to use a smoke machine to completely rule one out.

    has he ran any cods yet. id start there. also could be a small vac leak. have him hook up a smoke machine to look for one. i assume he obviuosly has the timing set right.

    maybe there is an intermittent ground or short in a wire somewhere. try checking all terminals to make sure theyre all clean and tight. if it werent for the elec probs it was sounding like a vac leak. seems to happen a lot.

    yes you can still have vac leaks. it doesnt have to be from a line though. could be a bad gasket around the intake or something. all the vac line are on the back of the intake.

    i assume you didnt mess with the timing any with the swap. you might want to check that. you could also run some codes and see what comes up.
