    Try some high temp. ceramic clear from Walmart or Autozone. I think it's made by Duplicolor. I used it on my valve covers and accessory brackets.

    Cleaning out head bolt threads...

    I used a thread chase set and a shop vac. You could also do what the others said or use a clean bolt of the correct size. I think cleaning everything is what takes the most time.

    If you haven't already mounted the fan look on my Stangnet site photo page and see how I mounted mine. I still have the cooler ties in there but I didn't trust them. the top two brackets bend over the lip of the radiator. The bottom is a piece of aluminum I cut out. Mine works great btw.

    I have the ASP overdrive pulley on my 94 alt. The shaft size is the same as the fox alt. Wheather it's good for the alt bearings and so forth I don't know but it works good.

    My friend uses a set on his car. He had the Performer 5.0 intake and "e" cam and ran as quick as 12.6@108. He originally dynoed at about 275/300 range. I would use 1.6 rr's with a non stock cam.

    Try adjusting your TPS to .98V. This will lean it out some at idle. If it is real rich at idle the exhaust smell is real bad. You're always going to have the smell but not near as bad.

    Head torque

    Use AFR's instructions. I became confused after reading/re-reading the ARP instructions and ended up torquing the heads to 85 lbsft I think. I think AFR says to torque them at 80 for the top and 70 for the bottom.

    ARP 154-3601 head bolts $40, ARP 454-2101 intake bolts $25, windsor-fox ENG-TBK timing cover/water pump bolt kit $60. This is what I used. Got the first two from Summit.

    offset rack bushings

    I would put the rack bushings in first. I use Energy Suspension standard rack bushings.
