    I bought a 180* stat from NAPA, keeps it a bit cooler on the highway with the increased air flow but at idle it stays just about the same as stock 192*

    Coolant Temp Sending Unit on New PI Manifold

    Check for ignition wires that are rubbing against things. Overtime this can wear the wire coat down and cause the wire to arch which would make the engine misfire. My 95 sable did that.

    I assume it will take care of the code but as for the shaking that sounds different. Does it shake only for a few seconds or continuous? Ac on or off make any diff?

    use a 9/16 drill bit to start it then use a 3/8 NPT. It calls for a 19/32 but good luck finding that. I used 3/8 no biggie just take your time lining it up.

    Just ordered a steeda cable and quad from LRS, also in the process of installing 3.73's. Thank you for the responds. LRS has been a huge help in my recent build, Spent about $500 so far. I think its awesome that you monitor the forums.

    From the previous owners mouth, "I was driven down the highway and the belt must have broke which lead to the crack in the intake cross over and I didnt notice right away and kept driving." Well he never said anything about the HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK. The old motor has been junked.
