    My 01GT stock could bark 3rd gear, I am guessing its cause the clutch was brand new... Our cars can hang with the ls1's through 1-2 gears, or possibly even beat them like you did... But 3rd gear is where its all over

    Thats what I did, Sodered then together so the connection wa strong, then wrapped them in the Black Tubing that you can get at the automotive store and I had my car for 1 1/2 years no problem... It will last a long time if you do it right :nice:

    Well if money aint a concern, then hands down the 03.. I have driven the 01 and I own an 03 right now, and the 2003 is just an unbeliable car.. It might weigh more, but that only cause of the blower and 6 speed tranny :)

    Thanks Guys... I got the shift knob at this years Turkey Rod Run in Daytona, only $20.. Man all you guys are storing yours cars for the winter, when this is the best time of the year for us here in FLorida to get some good track times!!! Only once has it gotten in the 40's

    2003 cobra blower belt/pulley help

    Ive been doing alot of research on this as well, cause i just got my 03 cobra. I was told that if you went with a 3.1 pullie, you dont need a chip or tune. You will need a smaller belt to limit the belt slip. Also have it professionally installed, because you need a pulley puller to get it...
