    Boxing The Front Control Arms

I installed all poly bushings throughout the whole car. What a pain in the ass it was, but what a huge difference! I also boxed my rear upper and lower control arms, and while I was at it, I boxed the front control arms. I bought a Mustang suspension book and they recommended this mod...

    Thumper/T-Moss combo done tomorrow!!

I gained 40 hp and 45 foot pounds RWHP by doing the Thumper TMOSS combo. Every cylinder is at 70psi which sucks goat balls, and the dyno guys said that I am losing about 30 hp or so. Definately worth it.

springs, shocks, struts from '02 GT

I did the swap but you have to use 94-98 stuff. The 99-04 is not going to work for the rear. You have to use spindles off of a 94-98 and can use rotors and calipers from a 99-04. The rears will stick out too far with 99-04 stuff, but the brakes are the same on all 94-04, with the exception...

Air entering my front brakes, and mushy pedal, please help!

Well, Bled the brakes on Sunday, and already the pedal is no longer that stiff. It is just a matter of time before they go out. I am going to take this advice. I am replacing the MC, and my friend suggested that I replace the front line with braided lines and get rid of the stock rubber...

Need Some Help With My Other Car. Olds Alero.

I have a problem with my 1999 Oldsmobile Alero. When I turn the vents on the highest setting, the air seems to come out very slowly, and it acts like it is on the lowest setting. Could this be the blower motor or a cracked hose? I have no idea, and need to get an idea where to start.

SN95 Rear End fit in fox?

I got mine from www.buyfordmotorsport.com. I only needed the right and left side cables. I did not need the middle cable on my 86, but maybe 87-93 cars are different? I am not sure. FMS M2809A ebrake cables for 87-92 car (2) - or 93 Cobra cables for 1993 cars (2) F3ZZ-2A635-A...

Air entering my front brakes, and mushy pedal, please help!

yes the fluid does drop. The MC is practically brand new, so I guess it could be, but would it not mess up all of the brakes? Not just the passenger side?

Air entering my front brakes, and mushy pedal, please help!

I guess it is possible that I could be leaking fluid at some point. If there were an air leak, would it not be noticeable as soon as I bled the brakes? It should not take that long for air to enter the system right? It has basically been like this since I did the conversion in December of...

Air entering my front brakes, and mushy pedal, please help!

I am having a problem with air getting into my brakes. I did an SN95 5 lug disc brake conversion, and here is what is happening. Without any warning, my pedal with go to the floor. When I first bleed the brakes, I get a nice firm pedal that allows me to stop on a dime. As time goes on, I...

    5-lug conversion??

Well, maybe it’s mush because your stock master cylinder is not meant for rear discs? The brake booster might also be the culprit. An adjustable proportioning valve should be used anyways with a SN95 conversion with a SN95 MC. I used a MC out of a 85 Lincoln Towncar and my brakes work fine...

    5-lug conversion??

For the rear. If you have a V6, 7.5. rear, find a rear that came out of a V8. The V8 rears are 8.8's much stronger. If you do not want to grab the whole housing, find 94-98 SN95 axles, does not matter which kind, the rotors, calipers, dust shield and I think it's called the anti moan bracket...

    5-lug conversion??

The rotors from 94-04 are the same. The calipers from 94-98 are a single piston steel caliper. The calipers from 99-04 use a dual piston aluminum caliper. If you use a 94-95 spindle, and would like to use a 99-04 caliper, you will have to grind the spindle a little bit for clearance. If you...

    5-lug conversion??

Ok here's some info. The V6 mustangs have a 7.5 rear end, the V8's have an 8.8. You can buy a whole rear, but it's pretty unnecessary. Doing the rears are easy. If you want to run the wheels you are talking about. You want the 94-95 spindles. I run 96-98 spindles, but I notice really...

Convert 1990 GT to small front disc brakes

I have the stock brakes off of my 86. They include everything. Rotors, new calipers, hubs, bearings. 20.00 and they are yours. Everything worked fine before I took them off.

    94 or 95 computer in a fox?

yeah the SN95's use a difference harness, not worth the hassle. Get the A9P. They go anywhere from 75-150 on ebay. 125 is ok but nothing great. That is about your only choice in CPU's.

    control arms or subframes

No need for aftermarket control arms if you are just using a daily driver. I would suggest boxing the stock ones and then running poly bushings in the whole rear except where the upper arm connects to the differential. If you put full length subframes on your car, and your car is lowered, it...
