    How hard is it to change an oil pan

    In theory yes. I tried this, had to unbolt engine mounts, and jack it up of course. Couldn't find a place to jack it. Can't and won't jack it up by the oil pan, especially if you plan on removing it.

    I had to drop the K-brace on mine to get the pan down and off the block. Keep the engine out.

    You might be better off just replacing the whole waterpump. Cost around 35.00 at Autozone.

    Timing chain might have kicked the bucket. 165k miles is a lot of wear and tear on that thing. Had a car crap out on me in mid-drive like that before, that's what it ended up being.

    It's tough sometimes trying to get parts off of these cars that are 10-15 years old.

    I don't see how injectors will cause a fuel pump to not prime :shrug:
