    It's a trick question. Engine combos don't make 1/4 mile times. Engine combos along with chasis and suspension make 1/4 mile times. Sooo.... dropping your engine combo into 20 different cars would net 20 different times.

    One other thing comes to mind that can cause what you describe and that's a vacuum leak. Check your vac lines as well.

    Drivers door lock problem

    It does sound like a wiring or contact problem. Did you shoot ALL the wires or jsut the pwer wire? Check the grounds and the parallel wire that goes between the two door locks as well.

    Ditto. Stainless steel does not rust... there's nothing else to add to that statement. If you're showing rust spots then it's likely due to water that contains iron oxide, dripping on the pipes. Metal polish will remove that.

    Thoughts on electronic water pump over regular performance pump?

    I would say that you would want the pump with the highest flow and best rated reliability once your power requirements are satisfied.
