    Help with new factory clutch

They should have recommended a flywheel In fact ford does not want us to resurface flywheels at all, they won't pay for it under warranty.. Plus if the tech did a poor job installing like running the pressure plate bolts down with a impact gun you can get chatter and there is a adjustment...

The quickest way to gain 40 hp

Just to clear this up for him it's the internals not the block that will crap out first. The modular blocks are plenty strong it's the factory pistons, rods, crank that you would need to replace if you want to go much over 400

    Tuners School

I had a xcal2 for the 01 gt. but with this car I am thinking of going with sniper. Both the sct and sniper have the ability to be upgraded so you can do your own tuning.

    BBK shorty headers

Shortys are worthless. I have the pypes shorties and I doubt i even gained 1 hp. Only reason they are on my car is that i bought the car with the heads off and it came with the brand new headers mounted to the pi heads and I did not have the stock manifolds. If I had the stock...

    4.10's and traction..

With 4.10's you should run a drag radial at the track. I ran my old 01 with 4.10's with street tires (kumho's) and was still only getting 2.0 2.1 60 foots on a UNprepped track I have 3.73's in this car ( came with them) and I am going to run DR's this time to try and get decent 60's

    Running a Self Test

EEC V you need a scan tool.. Look for a NGS on ebay or something that is probably the cheapest ford scanner you can go with that will work on your car. It's obsolete now for the dealers so you might be able to get a deal on one.

    How TiVCT works

Ford has been using this type of system for a a long time time now the 4.6 3v motor uses engine oil pressure to change cam timing. they have also done this on other engines.. the 3.5 liter v6 uses a similar setup.

96 Gt, PI swap, Hitech Stage 2 cam. Will it work?

They should clear but to be safe go with some aftermarket valves that don't have as thick of a face. Degree the cams if you can or if not get some of those matched cam gears nickmickinley sells. spin the motor by hand several times with the plugs out so if it's going to hit it will do it...

    Let's talk widebands

that is true, but when your on a dyno and don't have a wideband they stick it in the tailpipe, this would be far more accurate then that since it's not that far downstream
