    Also those LS1's were underrated on HP from the factory and with just cut outs in the airbox's were running very, very low 13's.

    It was all over for us when GM put the LS1 in there Firebirds and Camaro's. Even the old LT1's were quicker or just as quick as a brand new GT. Well, they do have the cube advantage over us and all LS1's were Corvette engines. Maybe that's why...

    The GTO looks like a Grand Prix. Oh, and an Pontiac's 400 HP LS2 is waaayyy overkill. It's hard enough for us to catch up to the power of the old LS1.

    Yeah, I've heard that just an aftermarket air lid shaves .3 off the F-Body LS1. Just a little more air and the LS1 is even a bigger monster.

    With your mod's you should put up a good fight with your friends stock LT1. How many LT1's are stock though? If you come accross an LS1 ('98-02), just shut down your car.

    LOL... I think the standard stock Vette is in the high 12's (Not 13's). Even Stock auto Trans Am's are running 13.2-13.5 which walks any GT.

    Yeah, really what mod's do you have? Because even a stock LS1 is going to destroy our GT's. After 2nd gear it's all over as those LS1's pull like hell.

    The LS1 has insane straight line accelaration right out of the box and the Cobra is awesome for sound and project car. Both a stock LS1 and Supercharged Cobra are bad ass.

    05 GT or LS1. Which One?

    I am selling my '99 GT and considering either an 05 GT or a '99 LS1 Trans Am (stock). The T/A is $11,500.00 with 50K miles, auto and when we G-Tech'd got 13.4 byt we couldn't G-Tech the GT because the dealer came for the test drive :( Anyways, I'm leaning towards the LS1 because of the price...

    2003+ Cobra vs 2001 Camaro SS

    The LS1 will pull ahead of the Cobra towards the end of the quarter. We watched 4 LS1's run at e-town and the slowest ran 13.2 and his car was stock class (It did have exhaust though). Those LS1's are insane.

    Stock LS1's are faster then your Cobra. LS1's are a big huge menance on the roads and for now they are king. Wait for the next Cobra :)
