Real-live 4 cyl Cobra II on ebay

People that know II's would know. Most non II owners know little to nothing about these cars, period. Many think they all had 4 cyl engines in them, like most of their Pinto counterparts. There certainly will be people that "dis" your II, no matter what engine it has in it. You need to...

Real-live 4 cyl Cobra II on ebay

How about the fact that you'd probably never see another like it? It is after all, somewhat of a rarity of sorts for the particular model. As for installing a V-8, keep in mind that it would also require you to swap in another trans and perhaps another complete rear end as well, just for...

    mustang in heat

Sometimes you might be "getting on it" right as the A/C compressor is kicking on or cycling. A/C being on in general is somewhat like having not enough memory in your computer. You want it to process at it's maximum potential while it's already under heavy load. Better to temporarily turn it...

    We are getting raped!!!

One can't really be accused of "raping" the "willing." If you pay the prices, you are really only raping yourself....or in this case, simply paying the "hooker" too much for something that you might get cheaper or elsewhere later, if you are patient enough. Competition in itself will see to...

    Got ran off the road!

And since you can't always judge a book by it's cover, don't rule out the distinct possibility that some of those (terrible driver) "a**holes" are driving Mustangs as well. (Not directing that at you or anyone in particular) Since along with having the potential to occasionaly do many of the...

2005 SVT Cobra... if there was one (discussion)

I will admit, that I've never been a fan of lettering within the side stripes either, even on the Cobra II's. However, side stripes without letters are fine with me....on a II as well as this and most other Mustangs that have them. Similarily, I would rather see plain GT type door stipes on...

2005 SVT Cobra... if there was one (discussion)

Interesting yet rather peculiar perspective, which begs the question... Would you be of the same opinion, if this was a product of the SVT group instead? Seeing that it likely provides all the performance attributes of any "real Cobra" and perhaps then some....it's somewhat hard to...

    Megan's First Mustang

Here's another interesting and unusual Mustang II (literature) item, that caught my eye. And I'll bet the '05 crowd would really get worked up over a II having those driving lites in the grille! http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72263&item=6527274839

    Megan's First Mustang

Thought lost forever, after being sold at a yard sale when she became too big to fit in it....Megan's first Mustang resurfaces on Ebay fifteen years later.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4561688335&category=46092

    de-lurking

Welcome! Between here and the .net site, you should never lack for getting info about II's, no matter your particular area of interest. Don't be scared off however, by a little occasional dissention. It's part of the nature of this place!

    the "NEW" King Cobra

Unlike Sal's car, I don't think the intent here was to make reference or show resemblance to the II's. Most spoilers looks ridiculous on a 'vert, this one is no exception. I think the wheels look "ghetto". The whole car looks to me like an amalgamation of various styling cues taken from several...

    This Is Painful To See....

Seems once again we have a black and gold car that just doesn't seem right, and for a lot of reasons.Don't know if you saw the other pics and vin info now up in the listing...but, here's my thoughts. OK, the buck says it's a '76. While not conclusive without seeing a matching vin, let's...

    This Is Painful To See....

Never seen a black and gold T-top in person. Needs a ton of work though...I wonder how long it's been sitting. Engine looks like it has old style valve covers (notice fill tube in front). In any case, the car appears to be a '77...even though it has the aluminum bumper strips....interesting.

The II they should have made!

Here's a pic apparently taken in sunlight, that let's yor eyes play tricks on you! (looks like convertible) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1319&item=7164184119&rd=1

    To much for this King??

Well, I do basically agree with you that the vast majority of II's did get the Firestones or the Goodyears. But, I'm certain that I've seen factory photos of the RWL Generals as well. I'll have to look and see if I can find one. Regardless, the listing of the other tire manufacturers...
