    i was faced with this same decision in august!! long story short.. i went with a 10th anniversary svt cobra convertible for 30k out the door. it had 2500 miles on it. best car i've ever owned, and i'm glad as hell i went with it. BUT.. it is a PITA to drive. i just installed the new MGW...

    My source is logic. Actually you could call it an applied logic as I am in a unique position.. and yes, I am an accountant. Like I said, I have made my prediction and we can all see what really happens. I would be more than happy to hear you guys say you told me so for the sake of SVT.

    BTW my point is that I believe Ford will shift thier strategy to making much fewer, very high priced, very profitable sports cars.. as opposed to mass producing focuses and cobras that fill up dealer lots and hurt average fleet fuel economy numbers.

    the above mentioned pics are of the re-designed 2006 GTO. GM would have released this version in 2005 (trust me they would have), but it was too quick of a turnaround with tooling and so forth. i like the '06 version a lot, and it will obviously have over 400hp. just damn expensive ;)
