    It could be the rear main seal, the valve covers (gaskets), or from the heads. If that is the rear main seal then you have to drop the trans and replace the seal with a new one. If it is a valve cover or the valve cover gasket then that is an easy fix...just get new gaskets and/or valve covers...

    You will have higher compression with PI heads on a NPI shortblock. But with a safe tune and 6-8 pounds of boost you should be fine.     Go to an auto parts store or Home Depot or somewhere like that and just get some heater hose and clamps. Run some silicone on the outside of the tube. It'll hold fine. You'll spend like $20 max and it'll take like 10 min.

    As far as the drain line, I just drilled a hole into the oil pan under the crank pulley far down enough to clear the pulley. And then I ran a rubber grommet into the hole and pushed the drain pipe into the hole. It isn't ideal or perfect, but so far it has held up with DDing and has not come out...

    Get one from a junkyard. Or get one from a scrap engine...like, find someone on Craigslist selling a damaged engine and throw him $20 for it. I even saw someone use high heat hose and ran it. You don't have to spend $200 or anywhere close to it.

    I had an aftermarket torque converter rated at 2400 stall. I used that same converter with my stock flex plate and with an 8 bolt flex plate.
