    I second that, have you even test driven one?? Basically its a gt w/ a bodykit or a 04/04 Cobra. you can always put a roush kit on a Cobra. The 03/04 Cobra will blow the doors off a Roush stage 2. Get the cobra

    I'm sure that new shocks/struts, Bump steer kit, Rack Bushings, and Ball Joints are gonna make his car look soooo much better. :rolleyes: The only thing thats gonna make his car look better is the springs, to get rid of the 4x4 effect. Everything else is useless in the "looks" dept then.

    Gear swap in a 99 Cobra

    The Rear End itself will not have a problem w/ 4:10's or higher it just the wheel hop that sucks major A**. The wheel hop is what can really mess up the IRS. And.. is it just me or am I the only one that gets horrable wheel hop when shifting under "racing" circumstances??

    Thats a pretty good 60' on street tires. Don't know if it will get any better than that unless you lower the psi or use DR's. It really does seem like you need gears though. I wish I had a solid axle sometime.

    Could you post your timeslip? Umm, I think that any aftermarket shifter is going to have that notchy feel. if you know what I mean. Just gotta get use to it, it more b/c of the tranny. I have a Tri ax and i love it. Put some 4.30's in that Cobra and you will be alot happier :nice:

    Exactly how much will the 99 IRS handle?

    Read my sig. This stuff helped out alot. But w/ the power you are making you might want to think about getting a solid rear. :shrug:
