    The only reason to raise your shock towers after lowering your car is to have the shock mid range at ride height. But the shock will not bottom out before the stock bump stop when you lower the car. So you could drive the car with just cut springs and not adjusting the shock tower mount...

    Guys that run 15"-16" wheels what tires?

    i am running 245/50/16 on all four corners of my 65 falcon. Stock steering 4* caster. I am not complaining about manual steering. I love it. My custom front suspension allows a wider tire in front. Plus i am lowered 3" all the way around. Posted via Mobile Device

    suspension upgrades?

    Bushings, Im running spericals on both ends of the LCA. With stock uppers. No rear sway. KYB shocks (cheap and stiff) with the coilover conversion in the front. Adjustable spring perches in the back. Lowered about 3".

    im running 245/50/16 on a 7.5" wheel. And this is on a 65 falcon that i lowered about 3.5". It has stock wheel wells and no rolled fender lips. My 65 mustang has 245s on a 7" wheel and a 265 in the back on a 8.5" wheel stock sheet metal and lowered 1". Posted via Mobile Device
