    Is your timing set close enough to get it to fire? I would make sure you are at TDC on #1 and have the dizzy dropped in right - make sure you are not 180 off.

    Don't sweat it - the Walbro 255lph pumps do not hold pressure when the pump stops. At least mine doesn't. I thought mine was screwed up when it did the same - but I was told to just go ahead and start it up. Fire it up and it will run fine.

    From the site Michael recommended, you would need a 6 tooth drive gear in the tranny, and a pink 19 tooth driven gear in the cable - that will put you exactly right for 3.90s which is what I think you are asking. One question - what is in it right now - is the speedo just way off?
