    New coils

I had the MSDs and two sets of GMS COPs. Both are Definately improvement over stock, the GMS Hard Core Series have higher voltage than the MSD.

    Engine Build

You can save a lot of money if you can do the rotating assembly yourself. You just need a good machine shop for all the machine work. I have not seen anyone make much power from stroking, but if you do stay at 298 cubes. Eagle makes a reasonable priced rotating assembly and Livernois has been...

Anybody figure out their car is too low after its too late???

Gotta agree on that opinion. I am not sure what people see in these giant blingy wheels on a Mustang. Leave them for the Caprices, C300s and Escalades. I think it si funny how some people claim a 20" wheel fills the wheel wells better. It wont fill the wheelwell any more than a 17" rim if they...

    question about aluminum ds

Powerhouse 4" aluminum shaft. Bolted in in 45 minutes. If you are not lowered there is no need to change pinion angle. I tested mine to 170 MPH without vibration and have run it for two years at the dragstrip without issue.

    Roll Bar Suggestions?

Sure the harness bar can be bent back. Mine is curved back about and inch and a half. That wont help the accessability to rear seat. If you make a removable harness (not NHRA legal) bar the kids could get in under the hoop, or if you step the rear braces they could easily step over them.

    Roll Bar Suggestions?

Except a rollbar, whether it is 4 or 6 point needs to have the main hoop anchored to the chassis and not where the lightbar attaches. This is what will provide protection. So my thoughts are the rear braces could be bent like an "s" to make the rear seat more accessible. Since you arent...

    Roll Bar Suggestions?

Here are some pics of mine. I think I commented on another thread to you about welding the lightbar being a waste. If you are not looking to have a certified roll bar then you can have a custom 4 point bent that would allow maximum access and safety for the rear seat. You could also have a...

    msd coil on plugs

I have. I ran MSD COPs before. They worked great. I run GMS hard Core Series now though. I ran them naturally aspirated and with a twin-screw. Good stuff! The OEM COPs work fine but the aftermarket make the car run smoother, idle better and they add some ponies too. With forced induction they...

Weld in Light Bar for Better Protection?

That is a ringing endorement there. I wouldn't bother welding a light bar in. There is not anything in that quarter panel to support the hoop. The light bar will fold like an accordian because it has no bracing like a roll bar. It is not constructed to provide protection and I would not fool...

    cams

I dont even get the question. What would make a cam street legal or not. There are no equipment violations for changing to a different cam. Emmissions testing centers base their test on OBDII as stated above.

400 HP AT THE WHEELS ALL MOTOR,"YES"!!

Well my old school way has always been to use the best technology available to make the most power. I did that in 1976 and I do it today. I dont give a rats ass if some wimpy Chevy guy cries if I have a blower, as long as he is looking at my back bumper. It is run what you brung on the street...

400 HP AT THE WHEELS ALL MOTOR,"YES"!!

You are 100% right. Building an N/A motor is not cost effective nor will it make the biggest numbers. In fact, NOBODY has ever posted a dyno sheet showing 400RWHP from a N/A 281 motor. There are some folks that just dont want forced induction for whatever reason, but they will never be able to...

    Water Mark Removal

Wash the car as usual. get a bucket and fill it with vinegar. Then use a microfiber cloth and wash the car with the vinegar. Dry as usual. This will remove the water spots on a dark car. This is also the same method used by body shops as the mysterious (acid bath). Vinegaris a very mild acis...

    Best Bolt on HP gains?

Running nitrous on the street is a pain in many ways. You have to pay 45.00 to fill a 10 pound bottle. You only get 5-6 runs on a bottle. Then the last two runs basically suck compared to the first two. Nitrous backfires are a nightmare too. Melting spark plugs with the N2O can happen also...

They are selling upgrades for the regular kits also. The mammoth kit has better intake tube and manifold. You will need a forged bottom end for that kit, as it will put you way over 500 RWHP.
