    That 460 I had in the 85 (for a month or so) was amazing. Would have been really good had I had it machined properly.

    The last car I built before we had the third child. 92 GT. Twin turbo dart 427. It put down 788 on 93 octane. Lost my job and had to sell it (along with everything else I owned). Time for something new. A new t- bird project.

    That's what I had. Keep in mind I had a 408 with a crazy amount of nitrous. That plus slicks are probably what did it in. The converter came apart and then the trans did like wise.

    I spent a fortune on an aod for the 85. It lasted about a year before it cooked itself. If your going to build one get the highest grade clutches and bands you can afford. Get a high end gears and a high end valve body. I ended up with a PA c4, it's still going strong from what I was told. Edit...
