    SVO Steering Wheel Swap?

I still have an SVO wheel from my car in my garage-but the PO used some kind of club device on it for a while and it looked like someone chewed a hunk out of the foam. Been thinking about having it recovered and reinstalling it...

    5.0 Swap 92 Notch 2.3

I'm still tossing back and forth what I want to do with that...I'll probably paint the engine bay silver before I drop in the engine, but I know I'm gonna dink it up a few times...and then do the body after I finish the engine. Hell, it's been primer for over a decade now...no sense in rushing...

    Question on my 79 wiring

The only reason I remember it was I used to have the duraspark setup, and I recall the red/grn is your 12v hot source, and that always goes to the positive side of the coil...tach lead is always negative side of the coil...

    Question on my 79 wiring

I think dk grn with yellow is tach lead, so it should be (-) side... edit: confirmed-just looked at my Chilton's...the red/green goes to (+) side, grn/yel goes to (-) and tach output

Do you plan to yank it out and send it to the shop, or do it in the engine bay?

    5.0 Swap 92 Notch 2.3

I just noticed the sway bars are mounted differently-you can either fab something up for this, or you can swap your own back on there. Also, you'll probably have to modify a couple things in your e-brake handle if you want to run the discs...if that's what you had in mind. If not, you can swap...

how to lift an engine with aluminum heads

...got mine from Summit...they're about $40 last time I checked, but it made lifting out the near-complete engine removal much easier.

how to lift an engine with aluminum heads

Do you not have an intake lift plate? If it has little tabs with bolt holes in it, I suppose you could put them in the accessory bolt holes in the front and rear of the heads-or am I not correctly visualizing something? edit: I dropped mine in and pulled it out with Edelbrock aluminums using...

new 347 lost all oil pressure

Just out of curiosity, when you put the new plug in, did you seal it and stake it?

new 347 lost all oil pressure

Yes, you can send a 1/4 NPT (pretty sure that's the size-might be wrong though) tap into it and install a plug in your garage-like you said though-just gotta be very aware of debris from the tap...I suppose if you pack it with grease (like doing a blower oil drain line) to retain the chips...

    I Just Cant Stop..

Sorry bro-I totally spaced on your question...realized you're just looking for good pads and better calipers...but I guess you already bought the pads. What was it people used to get? the 73mm Continental or MK VII calipers?

    I Just Cant Stop..

I can't really speak for Aerospace Components and their level of performance, but they gotta be better than factory stuff. I thought about buying their stuff a while back, then I just decided to do the SN95 front brakes and SVO flipped rears...seems to have worked well thus far.
