    Any number of reasons I suppose...might've been replaced in the past with another bolt that just happens to be the same size. If memory serves, there are a couple timing cover bolts that are the same length and have a studded end above the hex head.

    Ah, I missed the hyperlink at the top in jrichker's post. And I see where it said he has power at the injectors, so the EEC has power, but not the relay-I might've missed it in the re-read, but did he say there was 12V at the relay for red/black wire?

    Those were the plugs I mentioned-they're not freeze plugs, but oil galley plugs to cap off the lifter galleys. I had one pop out as well...I still had pressure, but not enough.

    It's not...and since you're rocking a Vortech, you could use the Anderson Ford Motorsport Mr. Freeze kit...its like $200 and installs quick. No electrical connections needed...only works under boost. You could go with the Snow kit too-only diff being you'd have to hook up electrical for it.

    To my knowledge they're on different circuits-if you don't have a Haynes or Chilton's manual, you really should get one. If you can trace lines on paper with your finger, you can source power to whatever circuit your having problems with, and check for power with a multimeter. Power windows...

    Yeah-cake...the eccentric spins in an orbit that's normally used to actuate the arm for a mechanical fuel pump that would be fastened to the timing cover.
