    I think it will start. The fuel cut of was triggered during the accident. Transmission seems good and the breaks seem good. If she does get fixed I'm going wingless and removing the side scoops.

    I think I might go with a manual 2011 V6 with the 3.31 gears. I know I can't believe I said V6. I know stock the new V6 puts down 260rwhp and 253rwtq. I figure with a 93 OCT tune and CAI they should be good for 280rwhp and 270+rwtq. Heck that is only 13rwhp off from my car with everything I did...

    Whats wrong with the new V6? I'm a V8 guy but I would take one of these new v6s stangs. With a tune and CAI your looking at probably 320 crank hp and 300lbtq at the crank. Add a set of 3.73 gears and you have a car that will be running low 13s in the 1/4th.

    Wish they did a color scheme like the 70 boss and they should do without the wing. These cars already look big from the back and they don't need a wing to make them look bigger. Take the wing off, paint it like the 70 boss and call it a day.

    Oh trust me I understand that, it's just an idea. I probably will end up buying a 2011 GT in 2 years when I can pick one up used for under 20k:nice:.

    +1 I had 3.73s in my auto and loved them. I then went with 4.10s and a 3200 stall and wish I went with 4.10s from the start. Yes you will be at 3,000RPM at 80mph but its nothing to stress over.

    I don't get how some people say 6k for a brand new engine is cheaper then 40k for a brand new GT? I no I can't buy a new GT even if I sold my car and put the money towards it. I think for a total of 10k you could have a new 5.0 and 6 speed transmission that would make for one awesome 2011 GT...

    I agree 100%. I love my Garmin and even the gps on my cell phone. I would never get a built in nav seeing how fast technology changes.

    06 gt mutha thumpr cam idle problems help!

    With big mods like cams you need a dyno tune not a mail order tune. Right after my cam install and before my dyno tune she would stall out all the time. After the dyno tune she was great. It took a good 4 pulls to dial in my car after the cams.
