    thanks... and you were talking about that kinda playin... duh!!! i was talking about the other kinda playin... you know.. the kind where it becomes bloody.. but i don't condone dog fighting!!!! i just have seen that he doesn't like other dogs and it tends to get quite messy before i can interupt...

    ok, so i looked it up... same crank, rods in the turbo as the NA 2.3, just different pistons... ok...now on to rings...any difference there? I always use the best, but are they different for the 2 engines? and i have heard that the gapless work the best on these engines... anybody know???

    turbo coupes!!!!

    turbo coupe came with an 8.8 didn't they... should hold up fine to a 5.0... the only difference is that the rearend is i think 1.5" wider on the turbo coupes than mustang...

    can loss of compression....

    did you recently rebuild the engine... when i had my bottom end rebuilt... the mechanic put the rings in upside down...almost blew the oil pan off the car with all the pressure in the bottom end...

    ok, so the only thing forged in the turbo motor is the pistons??? hmmmm, i'd be worried about the rods if i was going to be eventually pushing 25 psi..LMO..

    BBK equal length shorties

    do not buy longtubes unless you plan on a very big headache...everything i have seen says you have to drop the k-member to put them on...but i am interested in how the shorties will feel and how they are going in...keep us posted...

    iac off right now, HELP

    you shouldn't need to buy one if you clean it.... you'll just have the same problems with a new one in the future... cleaned my father-in-laws 2 years ago and haven't had to do it again yet...save the $80 and just clean it when it needs to be done...JMO
