No need to pull the fender off. Just remove the plastic inner fender cover (black plastic, likely very dirty). It should be mounted with a bunch of screws and push clips. Once thats off you can take out your old antenna. A new mount can be bought from any dealership or even a stereo shop...
Before you pull any panels try this.
With your car on (or any position where your windows would normally work). Open the door, and while depressing the window switch in the up position, slam the door closed.

While I agree that the KDs defeintely kick ass, they are sized similar to BFG's DRs. 275 max on a 9" rim with the KD. I had 285 Pilot Sports and they were also too large IMO for a 9" rim. I'd stick with a smaller tire for optimum perf.
