New Pics of the Coupe and New Wheels

Its not really hard, just need to think. Like routing the cables so they dont rub on sharp edges, solding the connections, finding good grounding spots, and mounting the box. Took me about 4 days, but I probably spent 3 days just looking at where to route the cables and where to mount the...

New Pics of the Coupe and New Wheels

Well I got the 99 Cobras. Almost no curb rash except for one small 1/2" spot. I still need to raise the rear a little so it sits even. And get new tires for the rear... Pep Boys tires suck. :notnice: Oh and new pics under the hood since the battery relocation. Needs some...

    another overheating thread....sorry need help

I bought an AutoZone radiator a few years back. Under $100 and its got a lifetime warranty. My old radiator was getting rotted out and paper thin in alot of places. A new radiator will help. How old is the fan clutch?

    inspection sticker

Ive read and heard that most aftermarket H/X pipes with cats dont last long. Last year I saw a 03 Cobra that had a catted Magnaflow X pipe. 10k miles on the cats and they were junk and basicly just blew out through the back of the x pipe.

    inspection sticker

Same here in VA. A sticker isnt enough. The inspection station transmits the results to the DMV. Could be why the CarFax says I failed twice and that the car only has 12,000 miles... I guess the guy wasnt smart enough to think that its unlikely that a 1993 car has 12,000 miles, even when...

'96-'04 Mustang electric fan into Foxbody?

I dont see why any electric fan wouldnt work. Provided it moves enough air and it fits the radiator and clears the water pump pulley. I personally run a Taurus dual speed fan. Not sure what year or engine its from. I wired the low side to a single 30A Relay. On Hot (100*+) days it works...

Lets straighten out my suspension before I buy everything.

Most people exagerate with the width of the 96+ spindles. They are about 1/4" wider per side. But if you compare them to a 94-95 spindle the steering arm on the spindle is straight 90*'s On the 94-95 the steering arm had a big bend it in, which will cause bumpsteer. I used the 96 spindles...

Throwing Both Lean Codes No Fix In Sight...

I guess it could be pulling extra air from the crankcase. Could explain why its burning a little oil, which it never has before. I really took my time with the gaskets making sure they were seated properly and even put a little RTV on them to hold them to the heads. And for the front and...

What brand tools should i buy?

Almost all Auto Zone tools are guaranteed forever. If you break it go get a new one for free. For my ratchets I buy Craftsman Professional stuff. Sockets are mostly Harbor Freight, cuz you can get a whole set for like $10 lol Stuff I only use a couple times a year I get from Harbor Freight...

Lets straighten out my suspension before I buy everything.

All you need is the SN95 ball joints with the SN95 Spindles. Go with the Maximum Motorsports CC Plates and Coil Over kit. As far as Tubular A arms, unless this is a track only car go with something that uses bushings. Spherical bearings transfere alot of vibration. With the 94-95...

Throwing Both Lean Codes No Fix In Sight...

Update: Changed the oil. Doesnt smell like gas. No coolant in it... No metal... Changed the plugs on bank 1. 2-4 look pretty lean (white) but not terrible. #1 plug was covered in oil or fuel maybe both... Checked all the vaccum lines and they have no cracks or holes... Checked the FP...
