    A properly set up Ford Diff. will out perform a regular Torsen unit. A regular Torsen needs equal load to engage both wheels fully. Unless you are going strait they are junk. Any car with a limited slip will spin the right wheel easier especially in a right turn but Torsens are really bad...

    The gear mesh is not changed when simply removing the diff. Just make sure you keep track of which side all of the shims and bearing races come from. And the shims inside the diff shouldn't be moved. If more pre load is desired you only make the shim on the outside bigger. I wouldn't...

    I don't think any states allow a dealer to change the title ststus on a vehicle. Do they? I guess it is really up to who is buying the car. I wouldn't want a car that has been abused so I wouldn't want a 2001-2003 Mustang that has been totalled by an insurance company.

    This subject causes alot of debate. Most of the time it comes down to drive careful or flog it. I just drove like I always do, with a couple of high spirited runs on the highway. At about 3,000 miles I noticed a nice power increase.

    I think you might have something wrong. I have only had 2 Mustangs but I have never felt this. I think is it deflecting 2" there would be problems. Almost every suspension that uses rubber bushings will move a little.

    TRACTION LOCK ON 2002 GT

    These differentials work better then the Torsen's in the F-Bodies. They really don't like to fully engage when turning right they need equal load to work 100%. The preload on the clutch packs in these diffs. vary alot. You may have a diff. that was set up really loose.
