    Ok here's what happened when i tested the wires: yellow/white 0V with key off....5mV with key on green/red 3mV with key off....12.3V with key on So it sounds like the alt fuse is blown and possibly causing the problem. Where is it, I checked the manual but didnt see alternator anywhere...

    Well are they just going to measure voltage of the battery? I already know the alternator isnt putting out any voltage but i think it may be because of the wiring not the alternator itself. I guess i'll take a ride over there now. Is there any wiring diagrams online?

    what do the two wires going to the alternator do? Are they just power and ground? My battery isnt charging. One of the wires going to the alternator has 12V and the other has nothing so im assuming its a ground. Does this mean my alternator is bad or could it be soemthing else in the wiring...

    What do you guys recomend? I might go with the replacement one but if i can find a better one for a decent price i'll go with that. How many amps does the stock one put out?

    Oh im sure they NX kit is nice and safe but i just like the idea of the NOS kit better, plus it seems like it gives you more for your money by including the window and fuel pressure switch.

    Ok thanks i didnt know you had the kit. I definately like the NOS kit more because it comes with the fuel pressure safetey switch and the window switch. Also it actually increases the fuel pressure unlike the NX kit which just takes the fuel from rails ad possible drops fuel pressure.

    The only reason i was thinking the 5116 kit was for 96-98 cars was because of the jegs site. I dont think the holley site is correct because on on eof the other kits for a 4.6 the instructions are for a 5.0. I wouldnt use a NX plate for a NOS dry kit, i think that would just be looking for trouble

    OK so i found out the 5116 kit is for 96-98 gt's and the 5171 kit is for 99-02 gt's. Does anyone know if NOS makes the dry system with a plate now?

    Went from 3rd to 2nd on the highway.....

    I was trying to put my dads dakota(auto) into neutral one time going about 35 or 40 and accidentally put it in reverse. I put it in neutral as fast as i could but the truck stalled and the rear tires locked up for a second, but everything was fine afterwards.

    I still kind of want to do a dry kit for the same reasons you mentioned. Is that the only dry kit for our cars? And how does the computer know to add fuel or does it not need to with a 100 or 125 shot?/
