    Basically, read your strategy with the tuner before you take the car in. Write it down. When you get the car back, before you try to reload your tune, read the strategy again, and make sure it didn't change.

    They do correct for altitude. I'll have to dig up my sheets, but at one of the two places I dynoed here in Colo., they had both the actual and SAE corrected numbers. We lose a LOT here because of the air...I believe it was over 50 rwhp difference.

    I got a hitch put on mine, because I have a bike rack that fits into the receiver. To install the hitch, you need to drop your exhaust, and there is drilling involved.

    I believe that with both the Predator and the XCAL, the Fuel % adjustment which you speak of refers to changing the tune you have loaded on the predator by XX%. Unless you know what you're doing, don't do this, or you may become the proud owner of a Vapor Metallic paperweight.

    Interesting response..... Let me take a crack at it. The calibration strategy is a code in your car's ECM that labels what version of tune, code, etc it has in it. If you have an SCT tuner and a custom tune, it is VERY important that you read your strategy and WRITE THIS DOWN SOMEWHERE...

    Interesting.....the Xcal2 is always the same price, everywhere, and I believe the Livewire was too. Yet Doug has the X3 for $20 less than the link that Bigcat posted. Maybe SCT is relaxing their pricing policies? The Livewire looked interesting. It's sad that SCT couldn't get its issues...

    Yep, Xcal3....Doug just started shipping them this week. I just looked on SCT's website, and can't find them there. They have a bigger display and more memory than an Xcal2, on device data logging, and I believe two analog inputs for widebands and what not. Doug does have them on his website.

    You're not necessarily out of luck....my '07 did not have the IUP, and I wanted the cluster with the message center. On the left hand side of the middle of your dash, across from the traction control switch, there is a blank plug which is the same size and shape as the traction control switch...
