    Do i even need the fusible link? What is its purpose? Looks to me like it just splits the larger wire into two smaller ones? I just bought a 4 gauge wire and was just going to replace the whole output wire in itself and leave the fusible link off. Good or bad idea?

    Do you have a trunk mount battery or something? Because after you said this, I just remembered that just had my tail lights repainted and wonder if something is going on now.

    No, mine is blowing internally. actually, the palladiums were rebuilt new ones.

    GToddyT5, did you ever find a solution? I have having the EXACT same problem as you. Even down to swapping out the alt pulley and everything. I have shot two brand new palladium alts and one brand new optima battery. Now I have ordered a powermaster and I don't want to blow this one.

    What parts are needed when installing KB?

    Yeah, mine is in the fenderwell. About the heat issues, many people use water/ meth injection. I don't have any cooling mods, and I have no probs, just a real safe tune. There is two people I know that have made a custom intercooler to fit the KB's.

    I use the fox 5.0 cable. It is long length wise but it still works. Just bends around.

    I don't know hoe much power it makes, but I will be taking it to pro-dyno soon to get it dyno'd. But I'm thinking maybe around 370-380?
