Blog site for my 86 GT
Since I'm a huge nerd and was stuck in meetings all of last week, I built this quick blog site with rants on my car and some how-to's like wire hiding and such... Don't be cruel, I did this in about 3 hours time... Here goes: http://stevegiard.com/stangstuff/- Boss 351

The damn 10-pin connectors...
Since we're on the subject, I will most likely remove the connectors and solder the wires got the best connection. They only served their purpose at the factory since, I think they installed engine, tranny and kmember together and plugged it in. Did it on my white notch, no issues and makes...- Boss 351

Running more than one Phenolic spacer ?
Yeah, he's got some ricettitude for sure. Tells me electric fans = 15hp, underdrive = 15hp, spacer = 20hp, E303 cam = 30hp, plus other things... Basically he has a 400hp 95 Stang, that runs mid 14's on a good day. He congratulated me on buying electric fans this year for my ride. I didn't do...- Boss 351

Running more than one Phenolic spacer ?
The only issue I see with 2 is eventually having to worry about more gaskets leaking vacuum. Otherwise, not sure if the spacer removes a lot of HP? My cousin is convinced his 1" spacer on his stock 302 (E303 + GT40 intake) gives him 20hp...- Boss 351

Official wire hiding thread?
Was searching online for some pics to see what others had done and I find my thread :/ I had a server crash and lost my files... not sure where the backups are. The only pics I have of that car: I traded that car for a clean hatch, sold that and years later got the 86, which I'm not in...- Boss 351

Who here is using Performance products fuel rail?
Yeah, maybe I overtightened the AN fittings at the rear? The nuts on the "bridge" pipe don't move anymore, they are stuck to the piece of pipe (hard to explain). But all the AN fittings I put on otherwise (Russell) don't leak at all, even the autometer AN4 fitting for the fuel pressure gauge...- Boss 351

Who here is using Performance products fuel rail?
Is it installed and not leaking? (I mean professional products) sorry... LOL I tried the cheap road, now it's a $200 lesson minus however much I manage to sell it. Dunno, prev. owner said Anderson, but I can check as he kept every invoice - could be UPR as the finish isn't 100% great. I bought the thing with the charger so I have nothing to compare it to.- Boss 351

YEAH! Also government and business have different goals. Sure it's business death to build something that won't sell.
