To tint or not to tint

I think it would look ok if you used the light tint, medium or dark/limo tint would make it look too ricey...IMO There is an almost clear tint available for houses that blocks quite a bit of the UV light and a decent amount of heat but is 95% +- clear. A couple of my customers have used it on...

    Custom Grills?

Buy one grille for the valance or the standard location (whichever is cheaper) and cut the pieces that you need for the 2 locations from it. Stack them as they are going to be located in the hole and drill a hole (1/8-3/16") down through them. Then either get some 3/8" or so aluminum round...

What would be the best disc brake swap option for my situation?

TCP makes 70-73 disk brake spindles and wilwood makes a 11 3/4" disk brake kit that increases the track width by (3/4") I think? This should eliminate or reduce the thickness of the spacer needed. www.totalcontrolproducts.com

    overdrive unit?

I ran a G-V unit on my F-350 Turbodeisel +100 h.p. +125lbs torque chip. The truck was heavy & lifted w/35inch tires and I pulled a 27ft. toyhauler loaded to the gills alot. I beat the crap outta that truck (shreaded the E4OD tranny) - never had any issues with the G-V unit over the 110,000...

    Racing-type ft valance on a ’67

Thank you, Here are a couple of pics of the mod to the stock valance. I had a piece of sheetmetal bent up to fit around the lower grille and fit up to the radiator support, then the valance was marked and cutout. Then the sheetmetal was welded onto the front valance. You could alter the...

    Racing-type ft valance on a ’67

My lower valance is a stock sheetmetal one that is modified to accept the lower billet grille that is made for the fiberglass ones. The car is a 66 but it should give you an idea of what it will look like.

    Spindle help!!

The TCP spindles I bought for the 66 are 70-73 disk brake spindles. They have the 1/2"+ - holes in them to triangulate the caliper bracket, the only aftermarket 13" brakes I could find at the time were willwood. and they have a different set of holes then the drum brake spindles (where the...

    wheel/ tire decision

I'm running 17x8-4.75bs w/235-45-17 on all four corners. (shelby drop) 620 coils 1/2 ring cutout, 4 1/2 mid eye leafs (need to drop the rear another 1/2") just make sure that you re-align your front end to the correct (more aggressive)specs (can't remember them but someone will chime in)...

    Any Experience w/ Shelby Aprons/Valances

I used a stock front valance and had it modified w/ sheet metal to fit a lower billet grille. I don't know how to re-attach a pic bu tif you go to my garage you should be able to check it out, couldn't bear to put fiberglass on the car...just my two cents...

Anybody heard anything about this carb style EFI?

Did you guys catch the "no need for a fuel return line" if your under 500 h.p.?! I've been looking at the holley Tbi system but this one sounds like it eliminates the need to modify my fueltank, I'm I reading the site correctly?
