Might as well. If you can only do one though do the h-pipe. And get one with cats. Easier to sell down the road if emissions is important to the potential buyer.

Other than the cold air intake, battery and security system that engine and engine bay is bone stock. Make's me wonder why it was chipped. The MAF sensor housing looks like it is molded into the pipe that goes into the fender-well. A/C is not working either. Looks like the compressor's...

Level of difficulty depends on the person's ability I guess. There's lots of how-to threads for installing headers. The equal length short tubes are the most difficult to install so most go with long tubes or regular short tube headers.

You said it has a chip. So, I would leave the timing at 10*. The tune probably has timing built into it and you would not need to manually bump the timing. The stock ignition components are fine for cars without forced induction or running nitrous oxide. Some pics of the engine bay may help us...

Welcome to SN. A good ole tune up is a good idea. Cap/rotor, plugs and wires. Clean the MAF sensor....carefully. If you break the thin sensor wires you're screwed. Fuel filter ever been changed? Otherwise concentrate on making it look good interior/exterior.

Yall Think I'd Be Disappointed W/ Gt40 Heads On The 95?

The 5.7L (350cid) vs 5.0L (302cid) helped them in that department. Had Ford put the 5.8 (351cid) in the Mustang GT or GM put the 5.0L (305cid) in the Z28 it would've been more of a fair fight. Why are you considering the GT40 iron heads at all? Is it money or performance or convenience? If...

    Proper Way To Part Out?

Price is right on. Man, I've done so many head gasket replacements. I'd have that torn down and put back together in no time. Put the stock intake and throttle body back on it. Sell the GT40 tubular intake, elbow adapter and FRPP 65mm throttle body separately. Spend an hour or two on...

Thanks! I know. I'm not 100% on the louvres. But, like I said, its more function than looks for my purposes. Thanks! My original plan with taking off the skirts was to practice on those pieces with some vinyl covering. I might go with a metallic black vinyl for the skirts.

What Would It Take For 800 Horsies

Victor EFI intake or box type upper or go with the 90 degree elbow on a 4 barrel intake conversion. Custom camshaft should really improve things over your current Steeda 19. A NOS or similar system will get you there easily. Sell the Vortech and go turbo.

    Progress Thread Questionable Mods

Decided to change the look of the car a bit. Living in AZ is hot! Regardless the sunlight shining through the rear glass has always been hot. Added some louvers and removed the side ground effects (side skirts) . Shameless engine pic:

    Yo Kurt (and Others)

For $2oo bones a set of good lower control arms are good bang for the buck. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lak-20150/overview/year/1995/make/ford/model/mustang Helps plant the rear tires. And that is always a good thing. Or, 10-way adjustable Strange struts and shocks is another good bang...

    Yo Kurt (and Others)

You might be able to find a used upper/lower intake for that amount. I picked my Explorer intake for $238 long ago when they weren't so available as they are now. That means you'd have to get the elbow adapter too though. If your car is still all stock engine wise then the first 3 mods to go...
