    Late 86 trucks I think got the e7te casting heads...otherwise it was 87. You want to laugh, look at a non hi-po 289 head. I can plug ports with my finger. I agree with Grady, toss a traditional carb intake on that 302 and a carb and watch that tourqey feeling go down the tubes. Been there done...

    He was a ways off. Those tenths don't come easy when you're at the limit; and he was making more HP on a very strict correction table to boot. Getting a suggested 3400lbs into the 11s on 300whp is damn near next to impossible :shrug: Next all h/c/i cars will be 11 sec cars by default :nono:

    Nice cheap headstart on things. Car looks fairly straight too. I'd either see if I could pawn those seats for $$ or dye them darker to match or black. Little cleanup and maintenence under the hood and such and lose the headlights and you'll have a sharp looking ride for very very cheap.
