    Something in your emergency flasher circuit is probly grouning out and shorting the fuse. Or if something (this has happened to me before) is touchin the electrode part of the cigarrete lighter and the body (ground) then it will short as well. Turns out I had a coin in mine. Theres only one...

    Who brags about a 3 speed toploader? lol I know a big block toploader (big spline) is worth a ton. Theres quite a few off them but I was reffering to a 4 speed toploader. Jerico's are awesome trannies, weve had one of those.

    MSD and haneline gauges

    Well all you need to do if you havent is hook up your coil tach wire (- termincal wire) into your MSD box. I am stilll confused on your speedo problem. Might be the cable but they should either work or not work.

    Head gasket sealant?

    Check for warpage because you shouldnt need sealant on the gaskets. Also, run a tap/ thread cleaner through your threads to make sure your getting proper torque specs. (60-70 ft-pounds for sm. block)

    Justrun the drill and have a handy oil pressure gauge. When you see oil pressure rise run it for a few seconds and your primed.

    Exactly, IRS isnt meant for drag racing plan and simple. They designed it for handling. Dumping the clutch is gonna do you any good unless youve got alot of sticky tire anyways. If you want to make it a drag car throw a 9" under it and build some traction bars.
