I ordered a GT mineral grey with every upgrade available to date except the bright polished wheels. Am I the only one who thinks those polished ones look Lincolnish? By the way, I find it funny how some of you yanks spell grey with the E. instead on the A :D I have bounced back and forth between...
I too would like to have seen a highland green option and spoiler delete :) At the same time I'm glad they aren't rushing to spit out machs, cobras, bullits, bosses and gt500s.
The advances that are embodied by the new platform are a giant leap. :D Lets beat the snot out of stock gt's so we...
This and many of the other testers will be crushed after the testing is done. The reflection previously mistaken for rust is the front end of a windveil v6.
Welcome aboard. Im fairly new myself but I think you'll find some good people on this forum. Personally I would seriously consider the trade you're thinking about. Even in a v6 the new stang is a greatly improved vehicle. :)
I totally empathise with you. I'm thirty two but I've turned into a sixteen year old since I put my deposit on a 2005 mineral grey gt. :) I check this site and others daily just to hear about sitings of new stangs. If I had to wait until 2007 I'd go nuts. :bang: That being said, I have wanted...
've planned my first road trip and my first cd. My first cd (which I'm burning now) will be a confusing mix of classic sixties seventies(for nostalgia) and modern hip hop (to test out my shaker 1000). :D My first road trip will be a toronto to north Carolina run to visit an old friend. :flag: ...
the greater totonto mustang club is hosting it's annual bbq at Ford plant in Oakville tomorrow (sunday) . I'm going to pop my head in for a bit and hope someone in the club pulled strings and got a 2005 up for it. For anyone interested it runs from 11 a.m - 330 pm.
If the car is there I'll post...
I'm 32. My father bought a brand new 1968 gt 390w 2+2 the minute it hit the showroom floor back in 67-68. When I was born in 1972, my mother advised  him that a fastback mustang was no longer realistic for a family so he sold it for next to nothing in 1974. :bang: Throughout the years...
totally off topic guys, but i havent had a stang for 12 years and i just noticed from the interior shot of the 2005 that the parking brake is closer to the driver than the stick. how long has this been the case? does it cause any problems? thanks
if the 2005 looked like that i would have bought my dream car (68gt390) four months ago. I love the 2005 and already have my order in. As per engineering, for those of you who dont know, the retro muscle car war has been started by the 2005 stang (i dont consider new gto a muscle car) but...
im willing to pay 180 month insurance for my 2005 mustang. if my current insurance company(which is giving me reasonably priced coverage now) wants more than that, ill find other alternatives. heres a formula some in canada might be interested in. if your insurance(monthly) on a vehicle is more...
Oh man :( I'm the 4 th guy to put in a deposit at my dealership last month. does this mean I was 2 guys 2 late? Ill be pissed because i was at the dealership weekly inquiring about deposits long before they would accept them, and basically gave these guys the ordering codes to enter on the 24th...
this may be a dumb question, but how much approx would a hood cost? I'm planning on a number of changes to my 2005 gt when i drive it off the lot but want to make sure i budget enough. 18" wheels, cold air, lowering, exhaust? :stupid:
thanks guys .
personally i'd have to say no non-functional scoops. unfortunately i also prefer the 2005 without a rear spoiler but that delete option is unavailable in canada. :( if i was to add non functional scoops i would want to make sure i enhanced the hp (via supercharger etc) so i could talk the talk...
if you dont like the 05 body style i would suggest you buy the 04. if you can wait until the 05s hit the dealer lots you'll be able to grab an 04 at a huge savings. :nice: i considered grabbing a mach1 my dealer is giving away to hold me over until my 05 comes in but my wife didn't have the...
i also ordered a 5 speed mineral grey, dark charcoal leather gt. :nice: tried to delete spoiler but it wasnt an option for canada. :notnice: got shaker 1000 upgrade. considering adding side airbags. Might reduce insurance premium, and resale value when i get the cobra in a couple years. any...
canadian orders
as i said in another thread, appears the stripe optin is only available on the v6 appearance pack. heads up to canadian buyers, spoiler delete option is unavailable up here. :notnice:
