    Random cut-off problem

    At any speed above 55 this will happen. Your cramming air into the intake filter and closing the throttle blade. Now the air is bouncing back and forth across the MAF sensor and it doesn't know what to do. Best suggestion is to down shift. This is better for your brakes as well. Thanks Jay

    These motors are known for piston slap. It will sound like a slight rod knock from 20-40 seconds. Ford says it's normal, but it sounds ugly. It can be loud if your in a garage or near a wall with the window down. Not much you can do about it. Hope this helps, Jay
