    Why pick the MGW Shifter???

For all who already have the MGW shifter and are used to its short shift, try this: sit in your passenger seat and shift it with your left hand. :D

    Why pick the MGW Shifter???

Quite a few people that I've talked to have had the Pro 5.0, Steeda Tri-Ax, and other aftermarket shifters and when they try the MGW, they say it's a whole different experience. My 3 favorite things about it are: 1) It's sturdy as hell. I intentionally tried to break mine and it wouldn't...

Just got my new KDW's *PICS*

I'm really really not trying to hate, but is this the first time you've tried to sell a car? I doubt it is, and I won't assume that it is, but you should know that $10,000 for a 1998 Mustang GT is nearly double the private party value. This is an honest question, and should be answered...

    Black wheels. why?

Honestly, I hate the look of black wheels on most cars. I've only seen a few cars that can pull it off. To each his own, though. I'm not usually one to bash, but your question is absolute idiocy. That's like asking why someone's favorite color is blue. Or why they like the taste of sushi...

    MGW Shifter question(s)

I love my MGW as well. MGW is a private CNC manufacturer, so they are the only person who sells their products. They have extraordinary customer service and product quality. I honestly tried to break my shifter when I got it...I simply couldn't even get it to flex!

    Real Bad gas Mileage.

I've gotten up to 28mpg on the highway, steady 65mph on cruise control for 1.5 hours. Since the 3.73s, I've been getting at most, 22mpg on highway, 9-15mpg city. My father's Prius gets 54mpg usually, depending on wind conditions

    mcleod or centerforce clutch?

I love my Centerforce DF. Like everyone else said, it's very light, but grabs hard as hell when you need it to.

    Stance and spring blues

If you ever change your mind, try the H&Rs Super Sports. People always say they are WAY too low for their own taste. :nice:

    Which tuner should I buy?

No one has mentioned the SCT LiveWire...are these tuners not any good or something?

    Stance and spring blues

I've got some H&R SuperSports that I would have sold you, as well as MM CC Plates. They are just sitting in a storage shed for a year while I'm up in Canada

Shock and struts with H&R SS

Thanks for this bit of info. When I get back into the modding scene, I will remember this. Aren't they only like $100 more? For proper alignment correction, they are required. If anyone here has ever properly aligned their 1.5" drop (or more) without C/C plates, let me know. Sweet, I've always...

Shock and struts with H&R SS

+1 This is the setup I've been wanting for a while. I've got the CC plates and springs, just gotta get the LCAs and Shocks/Struts now. :( I'm sad.

    Jlt intake

No, JLTs are not carb legal. Since they are easy to put on and take off, I'd recommend getting a JLT and keeping the stock. Swap the stock back on when you have to get inspected. Be sure to visit http://www.retailmenot.com/ and look for coupon codes for whatever website you decide to buy from...

Cold air kit is it worth it?

Bump Steer Kit and some changes??

Initially you set them to the same caster and camber as your car was before you installed them. This is done by measuring the distance from the center of the strut tower to the adjacent body panel and also measuring the distance between the strut tower (again, the center) to the firewall. Once...

Cold air kit is it worth it?

Most CAI's do not make much of a difference unless they are paired with a larger plenum & throttle body, and vice versa. So, if you plan on eventually getting a larger plenum & throttle body, go for it. The JLT CAI kit is priced a little steep at $229.99, but IMO, it is one of the best CAI...

Randystinchcomb - Identify Ford part #? ARP head bolts needed or overkill?

I just wanted to say that this thread title is one of the best I've seen in a while. I hate it when people use a generic title such as "Help!" or "Question..." Thank you for making Stangnet a better place to sleep. :)
