    coolant light ?

    sounds like you just need to figure out why your coolant thingy isn't floating....it has nothing to do with the proper mixture and has nothing to do with the computer....if it's sticking and not floating you will trip the light.....I would just drain some coolant and try and stick your fingers...

    Like I said...NOT recommended....but that is obviously up to you to decide...if you have seen it done and feel comfortable doing it then I say go for it....I am with you on saving every penny of labor costs.....but I have just seen a lot of people have problems with gear installs when they do it...

    I am not sure what gear you need...check out www.brothersperformance.com for the gear and the price...that's where I got mine..... unless your experienced with rear-ends and swapping gears I would NOT recommend a novice doing the swap...it has to be perfect otherwise you will get...

    I would say that you have a leak on the area where the intake meets the head.....so something wasn't sealing right..how long did this happen after your intake was replaced?? what did they replace it with? a NPI intake? or PI? I had this same problem when I swapped to the PI....had to redo...

    First of all are you bolting the Mid pipe up to the headers first??? because if you have it to the catback first and are then trying to match it up to the headers that could be difficult..... I always put it on the headers first and then attach the catback...never had any major problems with...

    well I bought a bunch of stuff that It turned out I ddin't need....plus a new gasket...and various things that I needed to do the swap like a coolant bucket......haynes manual(didn't really use).....just odds and ends...if I had to do it again it would be much closer to 125$ if not less.....

    Intake Manifold finally cracked

    Here is what I used Used PI intake $75 WP nipple (only used new o-rings) $6 Gaskets $6 (2) coolant tube (overcharged) $30 gasket maker $7 Coolant $7 T-stat O-ring $5 Think that was it.....I reused my stock altenator bracket...couldn't figure out how the new one went....
